Cornwall natives Jack Hawkins and Chris Thomas are a team in sync.
Both began sailing at the age of 10. Both on the Percuil River in Cornwall. Both in Picos.
And both consider their parents their biggest influences and supporters.
The pair seemed destined to be a team.
Moving on from their Pico beginnings, Hawkins and Thomas claimed silver at the RS Feva Worlds in 2010 before moving in to the skiff a year later.
A brief stint in the 29er led the pair in to the 49er late in 2012 and ultimately in to the British Sailing Team where they are part of a strong squad of skiff sailors.
When not sailing together you can find the pair adventure seeking or at a coffee shop with a road bike parked up next to them.
