EVENT: Laser Radial Worlds (23-28 February 2020)

VENUE: Sandringham, Melbourne, Australia

HEADLINES:

  • Another frustrating day of light unpredictable wind
  • Only one race completed as wind too unstable
  • Ali Young finished sixth in her race
  • Young now up to 20th overall in the 110-boat fleet

WHAT THEY SAID:

Ali Young (32, Bewdley, Worcs), Laser Radial:

“We got one race in today. The breeze was swinging around a bit and it was light and tricky to read. My starting was better today, starting was really good actually, I just wasn’t particularly very quick upwind.”
