FOILING FRENZY

British Sailing Team windfoilers Saskia Sills and Islay Watson took on a marathon challenge recently – foiling almost 50 miles between Portland and Poole.

Supported by their coach Sam Ross, the pair took just three hours to cover the mammoth distance, at times hitting speeds of almost 30 knots.

The challenge was perfect training for the iQFOiL class European Championships, which kicks off in Torbole, Lake Garda, on Monday May 16.
